We all know abut scented candles and diffusers but not everyone has heard of wax melts. Wax melts are a quick way to make your home smell incredible and are increasing in popularity.
WHAT ARE WAX MELTS?
Wax melts are scented chunks of wax that are melted using a wax burner. I remember learning about them, five years ago, on my candle making course and thinking nobody would be interested in buying the leftover candle wax!
Wax melts have now become really popular and are actually our best selling product.

OK, YOU'VE CONVINCED ME, HOW DO I USE THEM?
We test our melts with a traditional tea light melter but electric melters are also available. Please make sure your melter is 10cm or above in height.
Choose your favourite fragrance and place one wax melt on the melting plate. Light a tea light and place underneath the melting plate and watch in amazement as your wax melt, melts and fills the room with fragrance.
We recommend melting for no more than four hours at a time. Blow out your candle and leave the wax to harden for another use.
Once you can no longer smell the fragrance, remove the wax and replace with another melt.
As our wax contains no additives it is really easy to remove from the melting plate. If it's been cold the wax will just flip straight off the plate. Alternatively, heat the plate for a couple of minutes and you will see the wax start to loosen, simply wipe with a tissue.
